The UCLA Hammer Museum offers a wide
range of public programs year round.

Architecture L.A.
A series of Courtyard Talks, Design Dialogues, and Discussions

Art Talks
An on-going series of gallery talks and lectures by artists, curators, educators and writers.


Hammer Readings
Hammer Readings: Contemporary Poetry provides a forum for nationally and internationally renowned poets. Hammer Readings: New American Writing features the work of L.A.-based writers of fiction.


Urban Poetry / Spoken Word
Provocative lyricists perform contemporary rhymes and spoken verse incorporated with interdisciplinary art forms such as music, video, and dance.

Music programs
Live performances by classical, world music and jazz artists
