RUPERT J. DEESE's stoneware is superbly crafted with refined surfaces, subtle color glazes and carefully designed forms. Deese elevates his functional plates, bowls, vases, jars and bottles to an art. Recently, DEESE's work was included in the exhibition and catalog, Color and Fire: Defining Moments in Studio Ceramics 1950-2000, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, with subsequent venues across the nation.

JAY RIVKIN creates collages and assemblages which that comment on culture, aspects of society, politics, history and the arts. In her new work, a series of abstract collages, she weaves artifacts andmementos relating to a lifetime of personal experiences. Like composite self portraits, these works offer us, the viewer, glimpses into the artist's world.

MIRIAM SLATER paints on wood objects in oil, acrylics and lacquer. The intricate compositions on her wedding boxes, violins, cups and furniture maquettes often pay homage to Surrealist Giorgio DeChirico and to Cubism. Her unique and personal creations are treasured by museums and collectors alike. MIRIAM SLATER's maquettes are also created in full-scale, to commission; one example is the chair she designed for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
