Geer stepped into a fancy Vegas casino, when suddenly she found herself looking at big, bold installations by the likes of Dale Chihuly and Robert Rauschenberg against a backdrop of sounds eminating from the casino floor. Rather than it driving her crazy and reducing her art experience to rubble, it heightened it. Here she trys to work out why the use of sound and music, almost never used in conjunction with exhibitions, might be worth considering.
