Katherine Guillen "Monument to the Unknown"
Tinlark presents the debut solo show of Los Angeles artist Katherine Guillen. Inspired by the notion that our drive to memorialize is driven by our society's need to order nature and defy mortality rather than to articulate an actual event or person, Guillen has created works in painting and sculpture including ceramic and glass "monumental trophies".
