New In Town? showcases new works by a dozen new talents that have joined the Center's Studio Artist Program in the past two years.  The Center has endeavored to create a program that simultaneously provides the opportunity of studio space and gathers together some of Southern California's best artists.  Featuring diverse media, including ceramics, photography, sculpture, video, painting and performance, works in this exhibition challenge the boundaries traditional media, reflecting the experimental atmosphere of the Center, a place of creative discovery where professional artists come together to develop and refine their practice.

About Angels Gate Cultural Center

For 25 years Angels Gate has been recognized for its high quality, innovative arts programming. In 2003, the Center began its transition into a mid-sized institution, obtaining a 30-year lease from the City of Los Angeles and launching plans for the development of a new arts campus set in the dramatic, coastal acreage of Angels Gate Park.
