El Nopal Press is pleased to present A Measure of This, new work by Los Angeles artist Anita Bunn and San Francisco artist Bianca Kolonusz-Partee.
Through observing subtleties and an obsessive examination of details, both artists are interested in the shifts that occur where objects meet and share space. While Ms. Kolonusz-Partee’s wall installations of industrial landscapes sprawl and explode in bursts of color, Ms. Bunn’s trees quietly throb and pulse within a contained structure. The conversation between the two explores the tipping point that lies between growth and decay.
