In constant search of new visual intellectual expression, abstract artist Bernard Dunaux uses paint, cold wax, and wire on canvas to represent life’s complexity in Number Series. Abstract artist Jim Harris’s recent oils on linen are an outgrowth and formalizing of color tests and charts that vibrate with energy. In her Tranquility series, photographer Sachi Kato, inspired by Pictorialism, utilizes a subtle color palette to create a soft and moody atmosphere with a painterly look. Photographer Roe Anne White, in her more abstract nature images, challenges the viewer to explore the beauty that lies within the details.
The Art Rental & Sales Gallery maintains an exhibition space located on Level 1, Art of the Americas building at LACMA. Changing exhibitions are held throughout the year to introduce new and upcoming artists.  Interested artists may download application forms at: All artwork is available for purchase or rental. The Rental Program is available exclusively to LACMA members, although non-members may purchase art. The gallery is managed by members of LACMA’s Art Museum Council, a volunteer support group. Additional fundraising activities include the Los Angeles Art Show Opening Night Gala, the Art & Architecture Tour, Wet Paint–Sunday in the Park with Art and sales of the Julius Shulman Calendar.
