Gallery Nucleus is proud to present a solo exhibition by Mari Inukai featuring new and original artwork, installations and animation. In an attempt to express the contradictions of human existence, Mari uses the term “Kuro to Shiro” (Black and White in Japanese) as a theme to illustrate the importance of our coexisting dichotomies. Similar to the concept of Yin and Yang this new body of work is manifested through relationships of love and hate, past and future, needs and wants, as well as other compliments in our daily lives.
Along with Mari’s consciousness and care for her surroundings, a portion of the proceeds from the exhibition will be benefiting the World Wild Life Federation.
